Newton and the Barbell
The laws of physics work all the time, everywhere, and for everyone. You can prove this hypothesis with a simple tennis ball. Bounce it against the sidewalk gently, and it barely rises to your knee. Slam it into the ground with everything you've got, and it may go over your roof. Of course, we know this to be the law of equal and opposite reaction. Then why in the world do we scratch our heads when our progress has slowed or maybe even screeched to a halt in the gym? I say we're probably not working hard enough.
King Solomon says, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might."
What do you say?
