22-year old Pedro Antonio Tamayo Jiménez (Mexico) has been certified on the Crushed-To-Dust® Challenge (CTD), the world standard for outstanding all-around grip strength since 2012.
Quick, fun and comprehensive, the Crushed-To-Dust Challenge has three elements:
• lifting 90 kg/200 lb. on the Rolling Thunder®
• lifting 20 kg/45 lb. on the IronMind Hub
• closing a Captains of Crush (CoC) No. 2 gripper
Pedro Jiménez certified on the Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper in 2023, and his CTD certification marks another major milestone in his grip strength career.
“I deeply enjoy grip training,”Jiménez told IronMind. “Recently, I have been expanding my knowledge of this sport and have ventured into trying implements like the pinch block, rolling handles, and hubs, which has been both a challenging and exciting experience.
“Currently, I am preparing to certify for the CoC 3.5, a goal I hope to achieve this [year]. In the long term, one of my major challenges is to complete the Crushed-to-Dust Challenge Plus.
“My focus is always on learning and improving, both in training and in everyday life, striving to better myself little by little, Jiménez said.
