The always highly-anticipated World's Strongest Man (WSM) contest is slated for September in the Bahamas, although the specific details have not been officially announced yet and are subject to change.

Continuing the recent trend of eliminating pure speed-oriented events and returning to true tests of strength, the 2004 WSM contest is expected to feature events that will be very much like those used in Zambia last year, with basic tests of strength, such as the squat, deadlift and overhead press, forming the core of the contest.
