Ronny Weller totaled 450 in the semi-finals of the German bundesliga, giving an indication of what he might do later this year in the Sydney Olympics. Weller, who amazed his fans when he bombed out at the 1999 World Weightlifting Championships (see the March 2000 issue of MILO), hit the impressive 450-kg total via a 202.5-kg snatch and 247.5-kg clean and jerk.
