WSM Finals: Day 1...

Svend Karlsen won the Yoke Race today, and Martin Muhr won the Power Stairs in the first day of the 2000 World's Strongest Man (WSM) finals. Points after the first two events are as follows: Virtanen/Karlsen, 16; Samuelsson/Pudzianowski, 13; Muhr/Badenhorst, 12; Vagadal, 9; Girard, 8; Pfister, 6; Dixon, 5. Girard injured his back on the Yoke, and did not compete on the Power Stairs.
