Janne Virtanen (FIN) had another first place finish today, the only competitor with a perfect streak through the first three days of qualifying heats for the 1999 "World's Strongest Man" TV show. Cumulative totals for the leaders, by group, through today, are as follows. Group 1: Samuelsson, 21; Barr, 19; Onasai, 15; Philippi, 13. Group 2: Ahola, 22; Minkfitz, 19; Veoga, 16; de Bruyn, 12. Group 3: Virtanen, 24; Karlsen, 14; Ross, 13; Pannanen, 13. Group 4: Girard, 23; Vagadal, 16; Olafsson, 16; Brown, 15. Group 5: Veneberg, 21; Fekete, 17; Baskin, 15; Bergmanis, 13. Groups 1, 3 and 5 competed on the Pillars of Hercules today, a variation of the Hercules Hold, and Groups 2 and 4 competed on the Crucifix.
