“World Heavy Events Association (WHEA) has signed a deal with the biggest commercial TV in Finland until the year 2020,” according to a WHEA press release received by IronMind today.
“MTV's CMORE sport channels are airing WHEA's Pure Power™ (2017-) event yearly along with Finnish Nationals (2018-) in strongman/woman and pole fitness competitions along with other international events organized by WHEA.
“Pure Power™ is an event for competitions and athletes, who have signed in to the anti-doping contract and in 2017 edition of Pure Power™ we'll see the traditional US World Championships for strongmen/women, US World Grip Championships, Diamondgirl™ - competition along with some other events like Pole Fitness.
“CMORE sport channels are airing for example F1-competitions, ice hockey, and track and field events, along with growing number of strength events now.
“On top of the multiple re-runs at the channels, the programs will be found in CMORE web services for years.
“"WHEA events diversify our selection of events and it brings in the desired national events next to our international programs, too", says MTV's Channel director Jukka Raatikainen.
“'This offers WHEA great opportunity to develop our sports and events in long-term and we are very thanful towards MTV about their support to our events and event visibility", says WHEA Chairman Jyrki Rantanen.’”
