Competing before an enthusiastic crowd, strongman Janne Virtanen won the prestigious IFSA Helsinki Grand Prix today. Virtanen finished with 54.5 points, edging out Magnus Samuelsson (53.5 points) for the overall victory. Remaining places were: 3) Svend Karlsen, 50 points 4) Peter Baltus, 45 points 5) Sami Heinonen, 40.5 points 6) Phil Pfister, 40 points, 7) Martin Muhr, 36.5 points, 8) Harri Simonen, 35 points 9) Mark Philippi, 30 points 10) Mariusz Pudianowski, 28 points 11) Odd Haugen, 18 points, 12) Andres Gudmunsson, 10 points (injured).
