Making it look easy, Tim Einstein marched through the three-event Crushed-To-Dust! Challenge to prove his superior all-around grip strength: 

• 90 kg/200 lb. on the Rolling Thunder
• 20 kg/45 lb. on the IronMind Hub
• Closing the Captains of Crush No. 2 gripper

Tim told IronMind, “I have been training in grip since August of 2021. I used to think a strong grip just meant a strong double overhand deadlift, but after competing in several grip competitions, I learned that there are a lot of different types of grip strength and many ways to train grip. In addition to grip sports, I also compete in strongman and stone lifting. My training currently consists of a powerlifting program five days a week with grip training included on two or three of those days. My current goals for the future are to get certified on the CoC #3 [Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper], clean the 78-kg Thomas Inch Dumbbell, and pull 450 lb. DOH [double overhand] on the IronMind Apollon’s Axle.”
