Leaving no doubt from start to finish, Svend Karlsen wrapped things up today with a convincing win of this year's World's Strongest Man contest.

Samuelsson was second, Virtanen was third, Pfister was fourth, Muhr was fifth and Girard was sixth.

Jill Mills won the World's Strongest Woman show, with Heini Kovuniemi second, and Robin Coleman third.
