Naim Suleymanoglu said that he "definitely will not compete" in this year's World Weightlifting Championships, to be held next month in Athens, Greece. Suleymanoglu, who is making a bid for an unprecedented fourth Olympic gold medal in weightlifting said he plans to compete in next year's European Weightlifting Championships, and then in the Olympic Games.
