SCL is heading for the ski slopes in Bulgaria this weekend as “Again 12 strongman athletes will compete here for the SCL Bulgaria title and the ranking points in general, “Marcel Mostert told IronMind today.
This coming weekend, September 22–23, the Coppa Cocktails Strongman Champions League will be in the mountains of Bulgaria, at the beautiful Bansko ski resort. IronMind® | Artwork courtesy of SCL.
“Of course the biggest stars will be not there, like Zydrunas, Ervin Katona or Terry Hollands, because they will be all at the World’s Strongest Man (WSM) contest the next week and leaving [for Los Angeles] this weekend.
“Still, we will have enough other nice stars like Konstyantin Ilin, the champion from the Ukraine, Paul Pirjol from Romania and Rob Frampton from England, who can make a fantastic show.
“And what to think about Saulius Brusokas, the number two from Lithuania and Dainis
Zaigeris, the new rising star from Latvia! Also newcomers like Daniel Gracia from Gibraltar and Rafal Kobylarz will have a chance to get into the top of SCL.
“It will be a great show at the ski resort in Bansko and we will
do following events:
• Log Lift for Reps
• Truck Pull
• Car Deadlift
• Loading
• Yoke Race
• Atlas Stones
We wish all our champions good luck at coming WSM and meantime you can see them in action on TV already this coming Friday on Eurosport, when the SCL FINLAND will be broadcast, with a great battle between Zydrunas Savickas and Misha Koklyaev: Friday 21 September, 20.00 Hours CET.”
