Stefan Botev, Australia's popular superheavyweight Olympic-style weightlifter, announced that he will not be competing in Sydney after all. "I have tried everything," Botev said, referring to his attempts to fully rehabilitate his injured shoulder. Although he injured his shoulder on a heavy jerk, it's snatches that are creating the problem for him now, and the result is that Stefan says he'll be forced into a spectator's role as far as the Sydney Olympics go.
