In a most impressive demonstration of his grip strength, Slghi Choi closed the the Captains of Crush No. 3.5 gripper and has been certified.
“I am a math teacher,” Slghi told IronMind. “I train with grippers and thick bars once a week. I have a strong passion towards bodybuilding and grip training. My ultimate goal is to certify CoC No. 4 based on IronMind’s official rules.”
Slghi told IronMind he found out about Captains of Crush (CoC) grippers by Googling the most popular gripper, and that he could close a CoC No. 2.5 on his first try! Sligi was certified on the Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper in 2016, after about four months of grip training. His referee on that official attempt—Tommy Jennings, Jr.—predicted that it wouldn't be long until Slighi certifed on the CoC No. 3.5 gripper.
As another indication of his outstanding grip strength, Slghi told IronMind he can deadlift a pair of Inch (replica) dumbbells.
