The second annual IronMind Rolling Thunder® World Championships will be held in Hawaii on May 31st, in conjunction with the 2001 Beauty & the Beast strongman contest.

This event is open to anyone who would like to enter (US$50 entry fee), and first place is US$1000. Second place will pay US$300 and third place will pay US$200.

Last year's event was won by Jan Bartl, with a 265.4 pound lift, and it is expected that it will take more to bring home the bacon in 2001.
