As part of its program to continue developing strongman competitions in the US, IFSA will be proposing a series of regional qualifiers that will feed into a national championships next year. The present proposal calls for regional qualifiers on the West Coast, the East Coast and in the Midwest, with the top competitors going on to the national championships. Top competitors from the national championships will be selected for the elite IFSA international contests, World's Strongest Man, and other top events.
