Phil Pfister kicked things off in the first event at today's World's Strongest Man final by winning the farmer's walk.

Virtanen was second and Samuelsson was third.

The second event today was the log lift for reps, which Girard won, with 11 reps, followed by Samuelsson at 10 reps, then Karlsen and Pfister, tied at 7 reps.

At the end of the day, places and points were: 1) Karlsen, 31.5 points 2) Samuelsson, 29.5 points 3) Virtanen, 28.0 points 4) Girard, 27.5 points 5) Pfister, 22.0 points 6) Zijlstra, 20.5 points 7) Dymek, 17 points 8) Raynes, 15.5 points 9) Muhr, 15 points 10) Rasanen, 13.5 point.

Jill Mills leads the World's Strongest Woman show, with 28 points, followed by Heini Koivuniemi at 25 points, and Robin Coleman, at 23 points.
