Phil Pfister Wins Again, Svend Karlsen Still On Top: WSM Day 3

Today's World's Strongest Man (WSM) contest started with the vertical lift, which was won by Virtanen, followed by Karlsen, Rasanen, Muhr and Pfister.

This left Karlsen in first place overall (40.5 points), followed by Virtanen (38 points), Samuelsson (34.5 points), Girard (30.5 points) and Pfister (28 points).

Conan's wheel was the second event, which Pfister won, making him the only competitor to win two events so far.  Other top places in Conan's wheel, were Muhr, second, Karlsen, third, Samuelsson, fourth, and Dymek, fifth.

Overall standings after today were: 1) Karlsen, 48.5 points 2) Virtanen, 43 points 3) Samuelsson 41.5 points 4) Pfister, 38 points 5) Girard, 32.5 points 6) Muhr, 31 points 7) Dymek, 27 points 8) Rasanen, 25.5 points 9) Zijlstra, 24.5 points 10) Raynes, 18.5 points.

Jill Mills continues to lead the World's Strongest Woman contest, with Heini Kovuniemi in second place.
