Phil Pfister (USA) will not be in the 1999 edition of the "World's Strongest Man" television show, due to his inability to get the necessary time off work. Pfister put himself on the international strongman map last year, when he finished the 1998 "World's Strongest Man" competition in fourth place overall. Pfister's stock rose higher when he finished sixth overall at the 1999 IFSA Helsinki Grand Prix, where he won the Viking Press (see the June 1999 issue of MILO).
