TRENCIN, Slovakia - Anyone who was wondering who Oleg Perepetchenov (RUS) was before tonight's competition in the 77-kg category at the European Weightlifting Championships won't make that mistake again. After attempting, but missing, a world record snatch (171 kg), he proved it was no bluff as he cleaned and jerked 210 kilos for a new world record in the jerk and the total (375 kg). Hovhannes Amreyan (ARM) took silver with 352.5, and Attila Feri took bronze with 350 kg.
