TRENCIN, Slovakia - As expected, Nikolay Pechalov won the 62-kg category at the European Weightlifting Championships today. Pechalov was the clear winner via his 140-kg snatch and 160-kg clean and jerk, for a 300-kg total. The next four lifters were tied at 287.5 kg, with Elkhan Suleymanov getting the silver and Vladimir Popov getting the bronze.
