The North American Strongman Society (NASS) announced that it will hold a continental championship for women next year. NASS president Bill Holland said that this is "due to demand" for this contest, and tentative plans call for a six- or seven-event competition to be held April 15th at the Powerhouse Gym in Saginaw, Texas.
