“WHEA is introducing a new format for grip competitions in 2019 (along with traditional competitions),” according to a press release sent to IronMind.
“The new competition will be 3-event total max kg event, where all events are done in last man/woman standing style, so the competition will be relatively quick and fits to different situations like promotional events better, than regular many hrs long 5-6 event competition.
“The events, which are chosen for this newbie are IronMind´s Rolling Thunder® IronMind´s Little Big Horn and the Saxon Bar (Sportkraft).
“The first competition will be announced early 2019 and currently WHEA is having deep thoughts of adding this format also to its US World Grip Championships competitions.
“Like all WHEA competitions, this one also requires anti-doping contract 3 months prior the first competition.”
