Finland has strength in its blood and grip strength is no exception as the 2017 Finnish Rolling Thunder Championships produced a new national record and a valiant effort to break the world record for the CoC [Captains of Crush] No. 4 Silver Bullet Hold.
“Our contest went very well, GripMonsters’ Juha Harju reported to IronMind. “Tomi Tuomi and I broke the old Rolling Thunder Finnish Record (2012, Johannes Suomela 106kg) two times.
“First I pulled 107kg and after that Tomi pulled it too. 109kg was too heavy for me this time but Tomi got it!
“After the Rolling Thunder my target was to break Jedd Johnson's world record time on the CoC Silver Bullet with the Captains of Crush (CoC) No. 4 gripper. My time was 12,88sec. It was close to success,” Harju said.
