Representing the USA, Mark Philippi was invited to compete in the prestigious IFSA Helsinki Grand Prix 2000. Philippi spearheaded the return of Americans as viable contenders in international strongman competition (see MILO, Volume 7 - Number 1), and is working his way back to top form after being injured competing in the 1998 "World's Strongest Man" TV show.
