Magnus Ver Magnusson Wins Viking of the West

Iceland's Magnus Ver Magnsusson, four-time winner of the World's Strongest Man (WSM) contest, won the Viking of the West competition this weekend.

Based on this victory, Magnus Ver hopes to be invited to compete in the 2002 WSM contest, scheduled for September, in Malaysia.

Magnus Ver finished with 67 points, followed by Jon Valgeir Williams at 55 points, and Magnus Magnusson at 54 points.
