With great sadness IronMind® just received word from his family that Lee Gesbeck passed away yesterday.

Lee was part of IronMind® for many years and was the person who early on championed our coverage of all-round lifting, becoming our principal reporter on all-round records.  Lee also had a special interest in World’s Strongest Man and would often be one of the first people to ask for details about the forthcoming World’s Strongest Man contest and would also be someone who consistently wrote to thank us for whatever coverage we included as the contest was taking place.

Lee had iron in his veins and we’ll miss his phone calls and emails.  May he rest in peace.
