South African strongman Wayne Price (see MILO, Volume 4 - Number 1) will be hosting an event called "King of the Grip '99" on October 16th. Wayne said the event will "be open to all our national competitors." Competitors will do a "front hold with a car standing on a down ramp." Each competitor will be given a chance to record two times, and the average will be used to determine who advances to the final round. Wayne also plans to give competitors a chance to try to close the No. 3 Captains of Crush® gripper.
