Jouko Ahola, who once said he would "never again" compete in strongman, has changed his mind and is beginning preparations for his comeback.

Ahola said that he has been getting ready to compete in the Chinese Grand Prix, but does not expect to be in top shape for that contest.

His first real goal, Ahola said, is to be in top condition for the Finnish national championships next year, and if he wins, which would qualify him for the World's Strongest Man (WSM) contest, he will then evaluate whether or he will return to WSM competition.
