Johannes Suomela Breaks the Finnish Record in the Rolling Thunder

Jyrki Ratanen reported to IronMind® that Johannes Suomela broke the Finnish record in the Rolling Thunder® today with a lift of 100.5 kg, also making him the first Finn to officially break the 100-kg barrier on this benchmark test of grip strength.

This lift broke the record set by Janne Virtanen, 2000 World’s Strongest Man winner, and this might only be the beginning for the 21-year-old Suomela, a powerlifter who has reportedly done 110 kg on the Rolling Thunder® in training.
