Proven U.S. strongman promoters Jim Davis and Chad Coy were named as U.S. representatives for IFSA competitions.

IFSA founder Douglas Edmunds, Ph.D. said that IFSA sought affiliation with U.S. promoters, to help develop the sport, and Jim Davis and Chad Coy had been selected.

Jim Davis pioneered the concept of staging strongman contests as significant fund raisers for charity, and in the process has put on some of the most impressive strongman competitions seen on the U.S. mainland. Likewise, Chad Coy has positioned his contests as charitable events, and has also helped to raise the standard of strongman contests in the U.S.
