Jason Dingey Certifies on the Captains of Crush No. 3 Gripper

Strong as an ox, Jason Dingey officially closed the Captains of Crush No. 3 as if it were a toy—it was a dominating performance.
Dingey said he learned about Captains of Crush (CoC) grippers from a magazine ad in in 2001, then got a CoC No. 1 and a No. 2. As an indication of his grip strength, Dingey said he could close the No. 2 Captains of Crush gripper on his first try—an extremely rare event, but understandable given that Dingey said, “I do some farming and cut a lot of firewood. Strong hands definitely help!”
“I’m a stay-at-home dad/farmer. I certified on the Crushed-To-Dust Challenge. Hopefully I can certify on the [CoC] No. 3 and later the No. 3.5 [gripper]. I’ve been competing in grip [contests] for two years. I qualified for for Armlifting USA’s national team in 2019 and 2020. I competed with the team in Russian in 2019, meeting Dr. Strossen there.”
Jason said he trains on “grippers once a week, usually doing 2 or 3 credit card set closes before a couple of [CoC] Silver Bullet Holds.”
When you’re as strong as Jason Dingey, maybe it’s a little easier to be so modest: Congratulations, Jason, it’s official: you have been certified on the Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper, but for the sake of not making the rest of us feel so weak, could you make it look a little harder to close this beast?
