The top three were pretty close, but in the end Jarno Hams emerged with his seventh Holland’s Strongest Man title.

“Jarno won five of the six events,” Marcel Mostert reported to IronMind. “Despite the bad weather forecast for Saturday, the stands at The Place in the center of Kerkrade were well filled. The fans who braved the rain had come well prepared but unfortunately they had to pull out their umbrellas still quite regularly.”
The events were:
• Yoke Race (420 kg)
• Log Lift (maximum)
• Tire Flip (420 kg)
• Loading Race (3 x 100-kg barrels + 2 100-kg rolls of carpet!)
• Deadlift (maximum)
• Stones of Strength
With his win, Jarno matched the record of Berend Veneberg, who was the head referee and “the first to congratulate Jarno on equalling his record,” Mostert said.
