Janne Virtanen: Power Stairs World Record

Defending World's Strongest Man winner Janne Virtanen set a new world record in the power stairs yesterday in Tampere, Finland.

Virtanen raced up five stairs with three 205-kg objects in 22.97 seconds, breaking Riku Kiri's record set at the 1996 Europe's Strongest Man competition. Ilkka Kinnunen and Jouko Ahola refereed Virtanen's record-breaking performance.
