Jyrki Rantanen is organizing the IronMind Grip Classic Volume I in Loppi, Finland—featuring “classic thick bar events: Rolling Thunder and Apollon’s Axle.”

“The competition will be held along with the national bench press championships (raw, reps),” Rantanen reported to IronMind, and not to put pressure on anyone, but, “The organizing team is waiting to see a new national record in the Rolling Thunder and possible huge pulls on the Apollon’s Axle.

“There will also be a class for women.  Top three in each event/class will get money/gift prizes and national/world records will have bonus prizes,” Rantanen said.
