In a big move, this year's Icelandic Powerlifting Championships will be drug tested, Hjalti Arnason told IronMind®.

Arnason said that collaboration with the Icelandic Sports Federation allowed this to happen and that the contest will be complying with IPF standards. Forty-six lifters have already entered, said Arnason, including leading Icelandic powerlifter Audun Jonson in the super heavyweight class.
