President, International Highland Games Federation (IHGF)
The International Highland Games Federation (IHGF) has added a major competition to the Fefor Power Week, which takes place in June in Fefor, Norway: the IHGF Woman’s Stones of Strength World Challenge, which will run alongside the men’s IHGF Stones of Strength World Challenge, a grueling test of stonelifting prowess, including stone pressing, putting, carrying, and loading events.
This year’s IHGF Stones of Strength Challenge will feature the toughest lineup of athletes to date, names soon to be released.
Also in Fefor, at the IHGF World Amateur Highland Games Championships, 12 international athletes will go head-to-head for that coveted title, and all three IHGF world events will be filmed for European TV. In addition, the Fefor Power Week will feature seminars and clinics for Highland games, stonelifting, and strength events, free for all those in attendance.
Fefor, Norway is a beautiful place and well worth the journey to experience the land of Vikings, with many excursions and tours offered, so come join us in 2018 for an action-packed week of IHGF events.
