"The IHGF Strength Challenge is going north,” Francis Brebner told IronMind.

“The Scandinavian Championships along with nationals in many Nordic countries will be contested in next year’s 2014 Highland Games season.

“Scottish traditional Highland Games events will be combined along with many traditional strongman events such as stone lifting in different variations along with other events and there will be classes for both men and women.  The calendar for these games will be announced during the month of December

“Interested athletes from the Nordic area can contact IHGF's rep Jyrki Rantanen of Finland to obtain more info on signing up for next year’s summer season series of action packed Highland Games combined Strongman Championship events,” said Brebner.
