The IHGF has announced the official lineup for the 2016 IHGF/SAAA Lightweight World Highland Games Championships which will take place in Boise, Idaho at the Mountain Home Highland Games from 8-9 October. 



A total of twelve athletes from six countries will battle it out over the standard eight traditional events from stone putting, weight throwing, hammer throwing, caber tossing, and weight over the bar.



The lineup includes: Stefan Dumitrica (Romania), David Kirchmayr (Austria), Torsten Hülsemann (Germany), Bruno Ohngemach (Germany), Enrico Reiß (Germany), Simeon Brügger (Switzerland), Wilson Burnett (Canada), Niguel Anselmi (USA), Jon Odden (USA), Garret Middleton (USA), Mike Beech (USA).
