IFSA announced today that it will be holding a strongman World Championship Grand Prix event this year.

The series will include contests held in Holland, China, Finland, Czech Republic, and Sweden. The first event in this Grand Prix will be held on May 20th and the final event will be held on October 27th and 28th. Eight elite athletes will be selected to participate throughout the series, and at each venue, additional athletes, including local talent, will also be included.
