Following its big presentation to the athletes and organizers invited to its London conference a couple of weeks ago, IFSA Strongman has just issued a statement listing some of the key elements in its strategy for expanding the sport.

Using a structure of continental championships that will lead up to "an overall world title [with] a total prize fun of over $1m per annum," IFSA Strongman envisions growing the sport with vehicles such as Pro Team, a hand-selected group of the leading strongmen whose role is "to represent the sport in a series of planned game shows and celebrity events."
