Last weekend's IFSA "Dutch Strongest Man" competition was won handily by veteran strongman Berend Veneberg, with a total score of 63 points. Second place went to Peter Baltus, with 56 points, and third place went to Jarno Hams, with 45 points. Hams is only 24 years old, and both he and Baltus competed in last year's "World Team Event" in Hardenburg, Holland (see MILO, Volume 8 - Number 3). Veneberg's winning performance included a PR deadlift, done in official style, with 370 kg.
