IFSA's Atlantic Giant strongman competition is scheduled for July 28th in the Faroe Islands and it will feature a top lineup of competitors, along with tough events and excellent prize money.

Scheduled competitors are: defending champion Regin Vagadal (Faroe Islands), defending WSM winner Janne Virtanen (Finland), as well as Rene Minkwitz (Denmark), Jaroslaw Dymek (Poland), Bill Pittuck (UK), Torfi Olafson (Iceland), Zydrundas Savickas (Lithuania), and Hugo Girard (Canada).

The events are: deadlift, Conan's wheel, stones, log lift, deadlift hold, carry and drag, and tire flip. Prize money is US$4000 for first, US$3000 for second, US$2000 for third, and US$1000 for fourth. Top IFSA referees Jamie Reeves and Ilkka Kinnunen will judge the competition, which promises to be excellent.
