Top Canadian strongman Hugo Girard proved that he wasn't kidding about being back to top form.

Girard won last weekend's strongman competition at the Gastineau Hot Air Balloon Festival, in a field that included a number of WSM competitors. Johnny Perry was second, Whit Baskin was third, Jessen Paulin was fourth, and Travis Lyndon was fifth.
