This weekend's Hoffman-Terpak International Weightlifting Meet, sponsored by the York Barbell Company, produced some solid performances. Among the women, star lifter Robin Goad (USA) turned in a six-for-six performance, ending with 80/97.5 as a 58 kg lifter. In the 63 kg class, Danica Rue (USA) snatched 85 kg and cleaned and jerked 105-she also cleaned 110, but missed the jerk. Emilio Lara (PUR) won best lifter (men) with 170/200 in the 105-kg class. New talent Matt Thompson (USA) won the supers, with a six-for-six 170/205 performance.
