Calling his son Gregor “the man to beat” while also recognizing the ascendance of Daniel McKim, Dr. Douglas Edmunds would like to see a matchup featuring these two Highland Games stalwarts.

The younger Edmunds is coming off an impressive win at Braemar and McKim did likewise in Pleasanton, so the idea of bringing them together on one field is appealing.  The senior Edmunds, no feeble heavy in his younger days, wouldn’t say exactly what he has in mind, but he did allow, “We’ve got big plans.”
