Long time grip guy David Horne has just issued the first volume of his Gripopaedia, which is planned as an 11- or 12-volume set: “The books will cover everything you can imagine related to grip,” David told IronMind.

If you’re wondering about the scale and schedule of this project, here’s how David describes it.
“This first volume covers 'A', and is smaller (21 pages, and 7,459 words) than the others, as I didn’t want to include it with B. The next volume 2 (B), right now is 45 pages, and 20,605 words. A massive amount is written already, but there still is a huge amount still to do but it is fun and enlightening!
“The book will come out in about 12 volumes, over the next couple of years.
“Back in the 90s my courses were popular, and I still get asked for these old out-of-print courses now,” David said. “Also the grip sport/hobby has moved on so much, and also my knowledge has increased at a similar rate. So I set about writing everything I know (and if I didn't know, I asked) for a future grip book.
“It has taken a lot of work. Even to sort out how I was going to write this book, and it quickly became apparent that with the amount of info in the book, it was going to have to be written in volumes to do the subject justice.”
