Gilbert Goodman Certifies on Crushed-To-Dust! Challenge

“Dr. Strossen, here’s a picture of Gil locking out 90 kg [on the Rolling Thunder] like it's a warm-up!,” reported Tom Scibelli. He’s already certified on the Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper, and now Gilbert Goodman has added to his laurels in the grip strength world by blowing through the Crushed-To-Dust Challenge, held in conjunction with the 2015 National Capital Grip Championship, hosted by Tom Scibelli.

“The contest was a success,” said Scibelli.  “Gilbert Goodman successfully completed the Crushed-To-Dust Challenge and took first place in the contest!  Josh Henze and John Wojciechowski (Red Nail Roster) tied for second place and Nathaniel Brous (certified on the Red Nail and the Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper) took third.  Gary Kessler took first in the Masters division and Maria Bascetta took first in the women's class.

“The grip contest featured credit card setting gripper, one hand pinching on the David Horne's Euro pinch device and one hand lifting on a 2.5'' handle.  At the end of the events competitors completed a medley for points lifting Inch replica type dumbbells and cut heads of dumbbells known as ‘Blobs,’” said Scibelli, who, by the way is also certified on the IronMind Red Nail.
