Finland Wins IFSA European Team Championship...

Ending two days of tough competition, Finland's number one team of Janne Virtanen and Pasi Paavisto won the IFSA European Team Championship today in Kokkola, Finland. The winners were dominant, with 46 points. Second place was Finland's other team, Sami Heinonen and Juha Rasanen, with 32 points. Third place was Holland (Veneberg and Zijlstra), with 30 points; fourth was Poland (Pudianowski was injured in a car accident and was replaced at the last minute), 29-1/2 point; fifth was Sweden (the Samuelsson brothers), with 29 points; sixth was Iceland (Olafsson and Jonsson), with 22-1/2 points.
