“It is official, Fergus Highland Games in Ontario, Canada to host this year’s World Highland Games Championships, IHGF vice president Frances Brebner told IronMind.

“Warren Trask, president of the Fergus Highland Games, has agreed to be host this year’s coveted IHGF Highland Games World Championships.  The IHGF are very happy that the Championships will be returning once again to one of Canada’s most premier games events.”

Brebner said that the official start list “will be released soon.”

The Fergus Highland Games are August 10–12, “but the World Championships will all be done on one day I believe,” said Brebner.
